Hi Aryssa,

Yes, we're quite familiar with Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. A recent Harvard alum, Joanna Binney '08, currently dances with them. Thanks for reading!

Larissa choreographing for dancers in pointe? Looking forward to it. A couple of years ago, I saw Edouard Lock's "Amelia" show (live - never seen the movie version), a modern dance show with dancers (male and female) in pointes. That was breath-taking.

Point well taken - it's not a review. We don't want to be reviewers like the Crimson. My hope was also not to give away the surprise. Sorry about the rant on theatre.

Speaking of reviews- here's one of Endgame (with Dustin Hoffman as Clov!) from the Crimson in 1964: http://www.theharvardcrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=148462

This is not a review of the play but merely a diatribe on your own personal feelings about theatre, without any evidence from the production of Endgame to support your assertions. While this may be appropriate for a personal blog entry, it does not belong on a blog that is supposed to represent "the students' take on the Harvard arts scene."

These are beautiful pictures and much remind me of growing up in a small town. Always kids around. Always baseball. I had thought that maybe all this is gone or I've grown too old. I'm happy to see these pictures. It means that someone keeps it with them.

Awesome idea. I grew up in that town (Kristy is my sister). She's right, the small town life is precious and vanishing. I'm thankful my children are able to experience some of it for themselves. I enjoyed other articles on the site as well.
